We are delighted to share some exciting news from the Clearline Recruitment team: our sister company, Next Step Apprenticeships, has been awarded the contract to deliver a Leadership and Management Skills Bootcamp as part of the government’s Skills for Life programme.

In partnership with Brighton & Hove City Council, this fantastic initiative will allow Next Step Apprenticeships to expand their reach across the region—supporting adults to gain the skills, confidence, and recognised qualifications needed to take the next step in their careers.

The fully funded, 12-week course is open to adults aged 19 and over, whether they are long-term unemployed or currently employed, and living in Brighton and Hove. The aim is to deliver accessible, high-quality training that helps participants secure job interviews by the end of the programme—with the ultimate goal of progressing into employment, further education, or an apprenticeship.

The Skills Bootcamp will focus on a wide range of vital areas, including:

• Leadership and people management

• Coaching and mentoring techniques

• Expert talks from industry specialists

• Team development and management

• Interview preparation and presentation skills

• Social media and digital marketing essentials

• Personalised career coaching

• Hands-on, practical learning

• Current, industry-relevant content
